MAIN ECONOMIC FACTORS AFFECTING THE DETERMINATION OF HAPPINESS: A RESEARCH ON TURKEY

The concept of happiness includes many elements such as social and physical environment, demographic characteristics, economic conditions expectations. Today, the topic has increasingly become a signifıcant issue in economics. This study examined effects health, education, household incomes on happiness. utilized data Life Satisfaction Survey prepared for 2004-2019 period (TSI) by Turkey Statistical Institute. used ordered Logit approach, variable coefficients were evaluated using Odds-Ratio Marginal Effects. As result analysis, it was seen that health most significant effect Findings also show while income statistically positive impact happiness, education negative but does not have relationship.
